Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is holding its second annual Christmas Wreath Fundraiser now through Dec. 22.Wreaths are priced between $35-$40, and this year there are two easy options for purchasing them: buy directly from Wild Blue at the sanctuary or during the weekend PetCo adoption events, or purchase online from Christmas Forest.People who want to order online can go to the Christmas Forest website at http://Christmasforest.com and add wreaths to the order cart and enter WILDBLUE in the club code field at checkout.Christmas Forest is located near Seattle, Wash., and all wreaths are shipped fresh via free UPS ground service.Wild Blue will receive $10-$11 each from the direct sales and $3-$5 each from online sales, said Laurie Cross, executive director.Wild Blue also has an ongoing fundraiser with Cards for Causes. If anyone purchases holiday cards from Cards for Cause online at http://cardsforcauses.com and selects Wild Blue as his or her charity, the sanctuary will get 20 percent back of the proceeds.Since opening in 2010, Wild Blue has rescued more than 250 dogs and cats.
