Amidst hay bales and pumpkins, visitors to an Oct. 15 open house gathered to celebrate the fall season. The State Bank; State Farm Insurance; Avalar Real Estate Solutions; Falcon Urgent Care; Integrity First Financial; and Inspired Studios hosted the event.Some of the host businesses donated door prizes that included an autographed baseball from Colorado Rockies player Todd Helton, a 26-inch flat screen TV and an iPad.Other door prizes, such as free oil changes and free pizzas, were donated from other area businesses: Falcon Auto; Beautiful Expressions; Rock Solid Chiropractic; Papa Murphy’s Pizza; Palmer Chiropractic; Big R of Falcon; Heritage Cleaners; Southern Maid Donuts; Wendy’s; and Sonic.Activities included face painting and kidsí portraits, courtesy of Patti Watkins from Inspired Studios. Pizza Hut donated several pizzas alongside hot dogs and other refreshments for the crowd to enjoy. Cat Country 95.1 was on site to provide music and games.Angelica Rivera, vice president of The State Bank, said ìlots of peopleî visited the event.Troy Reichert, Falcon resident, said, ìComing out and supporting the communityî was an enjoyable way to spend the day.
