A seminar titled “Common Legal Issues When Starting a Small Business,” will be held Thursday, March 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $15. The workshop will cover common legal issues when starting a small business, including legal entities, business licenses and taxes, contracts and leases, marketing and advertising practices, consumer credit and debt collection, employment practices, intellectual property protection and bankruptcy.
