Forty-nine businesses participated in the July 12 Falcon Business Expo, sponsored by Rock Solid Chiropractic. Business owners hosted booths, and some sponsored events by providing T-shirts and banners.A 5K fun run and a half-mile run for kids launched the day. Jamie Wilcox, marketing manager with Rock Solid, said 78 people ran in the 5K, and about 10 kids ran the half-mile race.The business expo raised $3,000, which will be donated to the High Plains Helping Hands food pantry.ìWe heard from several business owners that they made really good business contacts,î Wilcox said. ìThey said they are looking forward to participating next year.î
