Blue Sky Nails & Lash opened its doors at 7555 Falcon Market Place, near King Soopers, in Falcon on May 12. Duy Tran, owner, said the salon employs 10 technicians who provide a full range of nail services, lash extensions and waxing.
“I saw the area growing, and I wanted to bring a high-end luxury salon to the area at affordable prices,” Tran said.
He brings 20 years of experience and prior ownership of two salons in Colorado Springs to the new salon in Falcon. “I understand our clientele’s nail problems, and I know what needs to be done to keep nails healthy,” Tran said.
Cleanliness is a top priority at the salon. “We keep everything clean. All equipment is sanitized and put into a UV cabinet,” he said. “All pedicure stations have liners, and files and buffers are single use.”
Affordability and good customer service are equally important to Tran.
He said the inside of the salon has a luxury feel but services are affordable. “With this economy, I don’t want to charge too much,” Tran said.
“My technicians really take time to care for the customer. There is no rushing. We also have a 10-day guarantee on our work. If a customer has a problem, they can stop by and we are going to fix it.”
Two private rooms in the salon can accommodate six guests each for special group gatherings like a bridal party.
Tran is originally from Vietnam and moved to Colorado 23 years ago to join family. He is married with two young children. His wife works in the business with him.

“I want people to come to the salon and see how our service is different. They can also enjoy a luxurious, clean environment with all new equipment,” Tran said. “I put my heart into this.”
