Meridian RanchThe El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary release of $7,639,534 for subdivision improvements in WindingWalk Filing No. 1 in Meridian Ranch. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The commissioners also unanimously approved the preliminary release of $391,304 for subdivision improvements in WindingWalk Filing No. 2 in Meridian Ranch. All improvements have been completed and inspected.Tanner RanchThe BOCC unanimously approved an agreement to extend an amended and restated subdivision improvements agreement for the Tanner Ranch Filing No. 1 subdivision. The planned unit development and final plat for the filing was originally approved in 2003, with the condition that all public improvements be completed by March 12, 2020; a six-month extension was permitted. The extension was accepted on April 28; because of COVID-19, certain deadlines in the agreement have not been met and the agreement needed to be further extended.Falcon Regional ParkThe commissioners unanimously approved a contract and purchase order to American Civil Constructors LLC for phase 2 of the Falcon Regional Park project for $955,134.75. The project includes construction of a baseball field, multi-use field, site grading and drainage improvements, asphalt paving in the parking lot and an overflow lot construction.Bent GrassThe BOCC unanimously approved the partial release of $3,103,466.78 for subdivision improvements in Bent Grass Residential Filing No. 2. About 40 percent of the improvements have been completed and inspected. The funds release reflect those completed improvements.Paint Brush HillsThe BOCC unanimously approved a request by Aeroplaze Fountain LLC and Heidi LLC to rezone 55.898 acres from the residential suburban-20,000 zoning district to the RS-6,000 zoning district. The property is located about 1.06 miles west of the Meridian Road and Londonderry Drive intersection, at the northwest corner of Keating Drive and Devoncove Drive. It is included within the boundaries of the Falcon/Peyton Small Area Master Plan and the Black Forest Preservation Plan.Rollin RidgeThe commissioners unanimously approved a request by TC&C LLC for the final plat of 57 acres to create 16 single-family lots, a tract for stormwater quality and detention, a tract for future commercial development and a right-of-way. The property is located at the southwest corner of the Hodgen Road and Highway 83 intersection.SBR RacingThe BOCC unanimously approved a request by Kerry E. Burt to rezone 5 acres of a 40-acre total plot from agricultural-35 to A-5. The commissioners also approved a request by Burt for a minor subdivision of the 40-acre total property to create two agricultural lots, creating one 35-acre lot and one 5-acre lot. The property is located on the north side of Spencer Road, about 2.25 miles west of North Ellicott Highway and is located within the boundaries of the Falcon/Peyton Small Area Master Plan.
