Settlers RanchLocated north of Hodgen Road, west of Steppler Road and east of Timber Meadow Drive, the Settlers Ranch Planned Unit Development consists of 43 single-family lots on the 162.5-acre master plat exhibit.On Sept. 10, Hodgen Settlers Ranch, LLC, requested that the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners approve the master plat exhibit and phased final plat. The BOCC approved the final plat in 2009; the phased final plat would create seven single-family lots on a 33.5-acre portion of the original plat. The commissioners approved the request.Hodgen Road radio service facilityLocated at 4590 Hodgen Road, the 1.32-acre parcel where an existing commercial mobile radio service facility is located is zoned rural residential. American Tower Asset Sub, LLC, requested approval of an expired variance of use for that facility, including a 170-foot-tall tower; the company also requested approval of additional antennae and equipment on that site. The BOCC approved the request.Meridian RanchMeridian Ranch Filing 11, which includes 193 homes near Falcon High School, is being submitted to El Paso County for approval. Grading in that area will begin in October. The Stonebridge age-restricted development south of the high school was also discussed. Stonebridge will include 173 homes and a separate clubhouse. The traffic report for that project will also be submitted to the county in late October
