Meridian Ranch ñ Filing 9The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners approved two requests by GTL Development, LLC regarding a Planned Unit Development in Meridian Ranch Filing 9: one for the preliminary plan and one for the final plat. The site of the 61.27-acre PUD is adjacent to Rex Road, east of Meridian Road. The PUD will include 45.46 acres of residential lots to house 162 single family residences, 11.93 acres of rights-of-way and 3.8 acres of open space.Removal of approved wind farm haul routesThe BOCC voted to remove the following roads from NextEra Energy Resourcesí approved haul routes: Ramah Highway (south of Harrisville Road); Vorenberg Road (between South Calhan Highway and Yoder Road); Washington Road (west of North Calhan Highway); Paint Mine Road; and Currier Road (north of turbines 53 and 59). NextEraís agreement with the county required that the company maintain those roads during the project; and, at the end of the project, return the roads to the county to maintain as they previously did.Paint Brush Hills ñ Filing No. 13BThe commissioners approved a request by Six Ninety Nine LA, LLC for approval of the final plat of Paint Brush Hills Filing No. 13B. The 10.56-acre site, west of Falcon Middle School and north of Londonderry Drive, consists of 21 single family residential lots and one drainage tract. Each of the 21 residential lots will be a minimum of 6,000 square feet.
