Paint Brush HillsOn June 25, the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the final plat for The Paint Brush Hills Filing No. 13A. The 301.852-acre master plat is located north and west of Falcon Middle School and north of Londonderry Drive. Included in the master plat are 544 single-family lots, zoned as residential suburban. Six Ninety Nine LA LLC and Weipking Real Estate Investments submitted the request along with plans for a phased final plat that would create lots within a portion of the original plat, which the BOCC approved in 2006. The first phase includes 17 lots within a 10.55 acre plat.Eagle Forest subdivisionThe BOCC unanimously approved the final plat for the Eagle Forest subdivision in May. The plat is located on Shoup Road about one-half mile east of the intersection of Shoup Road and Black Forest Road. The request, submitted by Eagle Forest Development LLC, proposes nine single-family lots within the total 44.193-acre plat. The plat is zoned as planned unit development, and lots range from about 3-to-5 acres and include 5.45 acres of open space.Waterbury subdivisionPlans for the Waterbury subdivision were reviewed by the Upper Black Squirrel Creek Groundwater Management Districtís Board of Directors for approval, said Tim Hunker, board president. The board has sent the plans to its consultant to review water sufficiency or where the water would come from. Hunker said the board hopes to have the results of that review early this month.
