Briargate Parkway design services – Black Forest Road to Vollmer Road

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a professional services agreement and purchase order to Wilson & Company for the Briargate Parkway design services Black Forest Road to Vollmer Road project for $1,871,666.

Jane Davis Ranch

The BOCC unanimously approved a request for the 397.32-acre sketch plan for property owned by the Jane Davis Living Trust. The property is zoned agricultural-35 and located at the northwest corner of the Judge Orr Road and Elbert Road intersection. The plan includes the following: about 215.97 acres of residential use lots with a 5-acre minimum lot size; 133.67 acres of residential use lots with a 2.5-acre minimum lot size; 4.61 acres for commercial use; 6.44 acres for park and open space areas; 9.45 acres for stormwater detention areas; 2.69 acres for a regional trail; 21.41 acres for rights-of-way; and 31.88 acres of land set aside to preserve the natural floodway that flows through the property. The request states that at full build-out, the maximum development potential of the sketch plan property consists of 93 dwelling units.

Falcon Field Metropolitan District

The commissioners unanimously approved a Colorado Revised Statutes Title 32 Special District Service Plan request from Icenogle Seaver Pogue, P.C. for the Falcon Field Metropolitan District and Falcon Field Residential Metropolitan District Nos. 1 and 2. The 57.67-acre property consists of commercial regional, residential suburban and residential multi-dwelling zones, and is located east of the intersection of Woodmen Road and Highway 24. The service plan consists of a $35,000,000 maximum debt authorization for the following: a debt service mill levy of 50 mills for residential and 30 mills for commercial; an operations and maintenance mill levy of 10 mills for residential and 5 mills for commercial; and a special purpose mill levy of 5 mills for a total maximum combined mill levy of 65 mills for residential and 40 mills for commercial.

Stonebridge Metropolitan District Nos. 1-6

The BOCC unanimously approved a CSR Title 32 Special District Service Plan request from White Bear Ankele Tanaka & Waldron for the Stonebridge Metropolitan District Nos. 1-6, located north of Cowpoke Road, east of Black Forest Road and south of the future extension of Marksheffel Road. The 160-acre property consists of the residential rural-5, residential suburban-5000, residential multi-dwelling-12, residential multi-dwelling-30 and heavy industrial zones. The service plan includes a maximum debt authorization of $26,000,000 made up of the following: a debt service mill levy of 50 mills for residential and commercial; an operations and maintenance mill levy of 10 mills; and a special purpose mill levy of 5 mills for a total maximum combined mill levy of 65 mills.

Falcon Heights Filing No. 4

The commissioners unanimously approved a name change request in the Falcon Heights Filing No. 4 subdivision from Sissy Way to Rosemary Trail.

Rex Road and Meridian Road intersection improvement project

The BOCC unanimously approved a contract modification order and change order to RME Ltd. LLC doing business as Elite Surface Infrastructure associated with the Rex Road and Meridian Road intersection improvement project for $65,000. The funds will be used for post-construction erosion control to support seeding and fencing installation to keep local livestock on the property.

Vollmer Road and Shoup Road intersection improvement project

The commissioners unanimously approved a first amendment and change order to Wilson & Company Inc. associated with the Vollmer Road and Shoup Road intersection improvement project for $279,820. The funds will be used for the following: roundabout design, roadway and drainage design, additional structural/geotechnical design for a retaining wall and street lighting design.
