Sterling Recycling subdivision

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a request by N.E.S. Inc. for the final plat of 32.62 acres, creating two industrial lots on property zoned Heavy Industrial. The property is located one-quarter-mile southeast of the Vollmer Road and North Marksheffel Road intersection, directly southwest of the North Marksheffel Road and Sterling Ranch Road intersection.

Brent Houser Enterprises sketch plan

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by Brent Houser Enterprises LLC for the sketch plan of 493.21 acres to consist of the following: about 119.73 acres for single-family residential lots with a minimum size of 5 acres; 312.84 acres for single-family residential lots with a minimum size of 2.5 acres; 15.07 acres for commercial uses; 8.52 acres of open space; 5.9 acres for stormwater detention facilities; and 30.21 acres for right-of-ways. The property is zoned agricultural-35 and located on the south side of Judge Orr Road, about 1 mile east of the Judge Orr Road and Curtis Road/Stapleton Road intersection.

The Sanctuary at Meridian Ranch

The BOCC unanimously approved the application for the preliminary acceptance of certain streets within The Sanctuary Filing No. 1 at Meridian Ranch into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

Falcon Regional Park

The commissioners unanimously approved the application for the preliminary acceptance of certain streets within Falcon Regional Park — Rex Road into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

Mountain View Electric transmission line installation

The BOCC unanimously approved and accepted a non-exclusive permanent easement agreement with Mountain View Electric Association to install underground electrical transmission lines near the Rock Island Regional Trail.

Meridian Service Metropolitan District

The commissioners unanimously accepted a non-exclusive permanent easement for stormwater infrastructure from Meridian Service Metropolitan District.

Retreat at PrairieRidge

The BOCC unanimously approved a request by SRJ Land LLC to rezone the following: 17.25 acres from residential rural-5 to residential rural 2.5; 14.43 acres from RR-5 to rural residential; and 71.9 acres from RR-5 to residential suburban-6000. The request also included a 142.13-acre preliminary plan depicting 193 single-family residential lots, two future development tracts and 14 open space, utilities, drainage and right of way tracts. The property is zoned RR-5 and located immediately adjacent and to the north and south of the future Briargate Parkway/Stapleton Corridor extension, and immediately adjacent and to the south of Poco Road, west of Vollmer Road.
