Eagle Rising property

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a request by Casas Limited Partnership #4 and IQ Investors LLC to amend the Eagle Rising preliminary plan to include a water sufficiency finding and authorize administrative final plats for the 70.97-acre property. Zoned residential rural-2.5, the property is located about 0.5 miles east of Black Forest Road, north of the anticipated Briargate Parkway eastern extension.

The Shops at Meridian Ranch

The BOCC unanimously approved to vacate and replat 2.43 acres to create two commercial lots of the existing single commercial lot. The property, zoned commercial regional, is located at 11830 Stapleton Drive, at the northeast corner of the Stapleton Drive and Meridian Road intersection.

Mary Jane Ranch

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by Robert Williams to rezone 40 acres from agricultural-35 to residential rural-5. The property is located at 6425 J D Johnson Road, where that road intersects with Falcon Highway, about 1 mile east of Peyton Highway.

Apex Village

The BOCC approved a request by Richard Holmes to rezone 37.47 acres from AG-35 to commercial community, in a 4-1 vote with District 4 Commissioner Longinos Gonzalez opposed. The property is located at 16888 Elbert Road, about 0.5 miles south of the Elbert Road and Hopper Road intersection.

The Estates at Rolling Hills Ranch

The commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary acceptance of certain streets within The Estates at Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No.2 into the EPC road maintenance system.

The BOCC also unanimously approved the final acceptance of certain streets within the Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 1 into the EPC road maintenance system.

EPC Sheriff’s Office Falcon substation

The commissioners unanimously approved a contract amendment and change order to D2C Architects Inc. for the design and architecture of the EPC Sheriff’s Office Falcon substation, located at 12072 Royal County Down Road, for $189,130. The contract will add funding to cover services including, but not limited to, bidding and negotiation, full construction administration, and additional project closeout scope, which brings the total project cost to $626,005.25.

Greaves property

The BOCC unanimously approved a request by Alan and Judith Ann Greaves to vacate and replat 10.36 acres to create two residential lots on property zoned RR-5. The property is located on Snowmass Drive, 0.2 miles east of Black Forest Road.
