Update:

The Peyton Fire District is in the initial stages of planning to increase their services as growth continues in the area. They are discussing bringing emergency medical services in-house and building another structure, said David Solin, PFPD manager.  “Everything is in the early stages of planning,” Solin said. Receiving approval from the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners for a second, unmanned fire station to be built in the Peyton fire district is the first hurdle, he said. It will be “a couple of months” before the PFPD determines how they want to proceed and move forward with plans, Solin said.
