Rolling Hills Ranch subdivision
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the partial release of bond funds for improvements within the Rolling Hills Ranch North subdivision for $1,422,080.20. Improvements represented by the partial release have been completed and inspected.
The BOCC also unanimously approved the partial release of bond funds for the Estates at Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 2 for $4,408,697. Improvements represented by the partial release have been completed and inspected.
The commissioners also unanimously approved preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Estates at Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 2 into the EPC road maintenance system.
Settlers View subdivision
The BOCC unanimously approved the application for final acceptance of certain streets within the Settlers View subdivision into the EPC road maintenance system.
Homestead Ranch subdivision
The commissioners unanimously approved a trade contractor agreement and purchase order for Timberline TrailCraft LLC for $256,129.15. The funds will be used to improve the existing parking lot and trails at Homestead Ranch Regional Park, ensure that water does not damage existing infrastructure and to prevent future trail damage.
Copper Chase at Sterling Ranch
The BOCC unanimously approved a request by Challenger Communities LLC for a combined planned unit development and preliminary plan to create 138 single-family residential lots on 19.6 acres, zoned residential suburban-5000. The PUD indicates the residential lots will take up 12 acres with 4.01 acres of future right-of-way, and 10 tracts for open space, detention, landscape, fencing, retaining walls, signage, utilities, and parkland on the remaining 3.64 acres. The property is located north of the Marksheffel Road extension and immediately east of Vollmer Road.
