Settlers Ranch subdivisionThe El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the final acceptance of certain streets within the Settlers Ranch Filing No. 2C subdivision into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.EPC fairgroundsThe commissioners unanimously approved the second amendment and change order to Ed Green Construction for construction of a new small animal barn at the EPC fairground for $13,704. This brings the new project budget total to no more than $1,296,326.00, and the work will include material and labor costs to install down spout drains, connect down spout drains, a high density polyethylene drain and to excavate the existing east building.Flying Horse North subdivisionThe BOCC unanimously approved the final release of bond funds for the Flying Horse North Golf Course and private roads for $58,712. All associated improvements have been completed and inspected.Homestead North at Sterling Ranch subdivisionThe commissioners unanimously approved a request by Classic SRJ Land LLC and SR Land LLC to rezone 41.63 acres from residential rural-5 to residential suburban-6000, to include a portion of Vollmer Road and the public right-of-way, within the Homestead North at Sterling Ranch Filing No. 3 subdivision. The request also included the preliminary plan to create 77 single-family detached residential lots with a proposed density of 1.7 dwelling units per acre. The 40.83-acre property is located north of the planned extension of Briargate Boulevard, south of Poco Road, and east of Vollmer Road, and included within the Sterling Ranch Sketch Plan area.
