Rolling Hills Ranch subdivisionThe El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the final release of funds for the Estates at Rolling Hills Ranch Subdivision Filing No. 2 for $318,019.38. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The BOCC also unanimously approved the preliminary release of bond funds for Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 2 for $4,220,776.75. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Rolling Hills Ranch Filing No. 2 into the EPC road maintenance system.Pawnee Rancheros subdivisionThe commissioners unanimously approved a request by Mason LLC to vacate and re-plat one residential lot into two residential lots. The 5.37-acre property, zoned residential rural-2.5, is located on the north side of Mustang Place, about 1 mile northeast of the Woodmen Road and Marksheffel Road intersection.Peyton Ranches subdivisionThe BOCC unanimously approved a request by Maddie Investments LLC to vacate and re-plat one residential lot into three residential lots. The 17.82-acre property, zoned RR-5, is located on the east side of Chaparral Loop East, about 1.25 miles east of Peyton Highway, and 2 miles north of Highway 24.Circle KThe commissioners unanimously approved a request by Circle K Stores Inc. to rezone 8.99 acres from the commercial zoning and RR-5 districts to the commercial service zoning district. The property is located northeast of the intersection of New Meridian Road and Highway 24, and southeast of the intersection of Old Meridian Road and Highway 24.Sterling Ranch subdivisionThe BOCC unanimously approved the preliminary release of bond funds for the Homestead at Sterling Ranch Filing No. 1 for $416,137.20. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The commissioners also unanimously approved the preliminary release of funds, plus accrued interest, for the Branding Iron at Sterling Ranch Filing No. 2 for $382,209.80. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The BOCC also unanimously approved the preliminary release of credit funds for Branding Iron at Sterling Ranch for $33,375. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The commissioners unanimously approved the preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Branding Iron at Sterling Ranch Filing Nos. 1 and 2 into the EPC road maintenance system.Winsome subdivisionThe BOCC unanimously approved the preliminary release of credit funds for Winsome Filing No. 1 for $37,936.61. All improvements have been completed and inspected.The commissioners also unanimously approved the preliminary acceptance of certain streets within that same filing into the EPC road maintenance system.Falcon Marketplace Dutch Brothers CoffeeThe BOCC unanimously approved the preliminary release of funds, plus accrued interest, for Falcon Marketplace Dutch Brothers Coffee for $24,664. All improvements have been completed and inspected.Boyd minor subdivisionThe commissioners unanimously approved a request by David Gorman for a minor subdivision to create three single-family residential lots on 35.88 acres. The property is zoned RR-5 and located southeast of the intersection of Brown Road and Running Horse View, and about 2 miles north of the intersection of Thompson Road and Hodgen Road.Eagle Rising subdivisionThe BOCC unanimously approved a request by CASAS Limited Partnership No. 4 to extend the expired Eagle Rising preliminary plan, which includes 17 single-family residential lots. The 70.97-acre property is zoned RR-5 and located about 0.5 miles east of Black Forest Road and north of the anticipated eastern extension of Briargate Parkway. It is included within the boundaries of the Black Forest Preservation Plan.Flying Horse North subdivisionIn a 3-1 vote, the commissioners approved a request by PRI #2 LLC, Elite Properties of America, and Flying Horse Country Club LLC for a sketch plan for 912 acres located at the southwest corner of Hodgen Road and Black Forest Road, continuing south to incorporate land on the north and south sides of Old Stagecoach Road. District 4 commissioner Longinos Gonzalez, Jr., voted against the request, and Holly Williams, commissioner for District 1, recused herself.The plan includes 846 single-family residential lots, about 58.8 acres of commercial and hotel uses, and about 204 acres of open space. The property is zoned RR-5.
