The Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society presents acoustic music in the winter months from September through May, and the music will resume Sept. 18, with the award winning Wirewood Station Blue Grass Band. The concerts take place the third Friday of each month at the Cowboy Church of Peyton at15540 Bradshaw Road (1 mile north of Murphy Road); families are encouraged to attend. For those who play instruments, an open jam session begins at 5:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7. Concerts include two open-stage performers, followed by a featured act.
