The Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society meets the third Friday of each month at the Cowboy Church of Peyton, 15540 Bradshaw Road (1 mile north of Murphy Road); families are encouraged to attend.†For those who play instruments, an open jam session begins at 5:30 p.m., the concert starts at 7 p.m. Concerts include two open-stage performers followed by a featured act.† Refreshments are available; the cost is $5 for general admission, $3 for members and kids under age 16 get in at no charge.On Nov. 15, the society will feature the Crystal Hall Billys from Manitou Springs, Colo. They are called the Billys because they practice at a home in Crystal Hills, and all members are nicknamed Billy.
