Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society is a local society that presents acoustic music in the winter months from September through May.† The group meets on the third Friday at the Cowboy Church of Peyton, 15540 Bradshaw Road (1 mile north of Murphy Road), and families are encouraged to attend.† For those who play instruments, an open jam session begins at 5:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Concerts include two open-stage performers followed by a featured act.† Refreshments are available and the cost is $5 for general admission, $3 for members and kids under 16 get in free.The group will not meet in December due to the holidays, but mark the calendar for Jan. 18. The featured act is Stephanie Pauline, a Colorado Springs artist who sings alternative country music. Stephanieís songs have played on more than 500 radio stations in 30 countries.
