Americana music: The Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society located in Peyton has been the gathering place for local musicians, songwriters and lovers of Americana music for more than 16 years.Concerts and jams are open to the public and held on the third Friday of every month, except December. Jams begin at 5:30 p.m. and are free. Concerts are at 7 p.m. and feature top local and traveling artists performing traditional folk, bluegrass, western and other types of Americana roots music.Concert tickets are $10, young folks 16 and under are admitted free. Memberships are available and provide discounted tickets.Seating is comfortable on plush, upholstered seats.
