Visitors are welcome to tour the historic Black Forest Log School at the corner of Black Forest and Shoup roads on Thursday afternoons, from noon to 3 p.m. The tours start June 13 and end Aug. 15 (no tours July 4). On June 13, a docent will teach games of bygone days at 1 p.m.The free museum represents school life in a one-room log building constructed on donated land in 1922 by local residents who supplied their own lumber.
