The historic Black Forest Log School is open to visitors every Thursday afternoon, from noon to 3 p.m., June 18 through Aug. 6. It is located at 6770 Shoup Road. The school was built in 1922 and has been restored to its original appearance as a one-room school for the first eight grades. There is something of interest for all ages at no cost.
