The Black Forest Festival will take place Saturday, Aug. 13. A pancake breakfast, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30, kicks off the event. R&R Cafe is sponsoring the breakfast. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m., and the outhouse races will begin around 11:40 a.m., following the parade. Booths will be set up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festivities include childrenís games, crafts and contests, old-time photos, pony rides, a petting zoo ó and music all day long. The United States Air Force Blue Steel Band will play from 12:15 to 3 p.m.
