The Black Forest Community Foundation will hold a family barbeque May 18, from noon to 4 p.m. at Inglis Hall on the LaForet grounds, 6145 Shoup Road. The event will benefit the future Log School Park. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children age 5-12 years and free for children under age 5. The menu offers pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs with all the fixings and cold drinks.There will be activities for both adults and children, and most important is the opportunity to vote on several design alternatives for the Log School Park, located at the corner of Black Forest and Shoup Roads.Contact Carrie Robertson at 719-495-2001 for more information.
