Black Forest AARP Chapter – Remembrance food drive

Since its inception 44 years ago, the Black Forest AARP Chapter No. 1100 has participated in many food drives in the community.†This year, the annual Day of Service Food Drive, in its14th consecutive year, coincides with the National Day of Service and Remembrance on Sept. 11. All food and cash donations will benefit Black Forest Cares food pantry.†††††††The chapter is urging residents to make this a successful effort on behalf of those in need in the area. Donations can be dropped off Sept. 5 through Sept. 14 at the merchants listed below. The businesses are partnering with the AARP Chapter to collect non-perishable food with a current usage date.
