The Black Forest AARP Chapter #1100 celebrated its 37th birthday and long-term members on Sept. 9.Mildred Humphrey, the longest serving member, has been a Black Forest Chapter 1100 member for 31 years. Five others – Edna Eaton, Chuck Eaton, Lexie Manfrin, Dorita St. Dennis and Kay Zvonkovich – were honored for being members for more than 20 years. Gwen Burk, Ting Boyarski, Walt Evans and Imelda Evans were recognized for 15 years of membership. Each of them, as well as 17 others who have been members more than five years, were given laminated nametags. Although she could not be present, Bonnie Davidson was given a special nametag as an honorary member for her many years in support of the chapter activities. Chapter president Don Von Gunden presented the nametags.
