The Black Forest AARP Chapter featured a program on celiac disease and gluten intolerance in April. Sara Troup and her son, Dale, described symptoms of the disease and how it can affect people. They also talked about how to read labels and restaurant menus to ensure gluten-free foods.On May 8, the chapter meeting will host a program on avoiding financial scams. The program will follow the potluck, which begins at noon at the Black Forest Lutheran Church at 12455 Black Forest Road. All ages are welcome.
