The Falcon Fire District has been talking with Ray OíSullivan, the developer of the Sante Fe Springs development. The development is currently within the Peyton Fire District, and rumor has it that OíSullivan wants to ìmoveî the development to the Falcon Fire District. The NFH source on this one says it takes a vote by both fire boards to do so. Weíve heard that OíSullivan has hired an attorney and is prepared to take the issue to court. Motivation: The commercial development slated for Sante Fe Springs produces more tax revenue. Downside: distance. (Weíll let you know how this one plays out.)
