With an office on the second floor of The State Bank building, BEX Security opened its doors in July. Owner Erik Beck said he brought his company to Falcon because the town reminded him of his hometown in Idaho.ìIt felt welcoming here,î Beck said. ìWe wanted it to be a Colorado-based company and to be a part of the community. Weíre really excited about this area.îBEX Security offers home and business security packages for people from all walks of life, said Mark Paschall, BEX regional manager. Paschall, who lives in Falcon, said that together he and Beck have 30 years of security experience.Their systems include full home automation, automatic door locks, smart thermostats, automatic lights and closed circuit television cameras, Beck said.ìI started BEX in 2009 because I wanted to give our customers more options to choose from in security packages and security providers,î Beck said. ìI was in the alarm industry before starting this company, and I really wanted to take this business and develop it around the customer.îA grand opening ceremony and celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m., with a barbecue following the ceremony.
