The Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado is teaming up with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs College of Business to create an award called the GE Johnson Award for Marketplace Ethics. GE Johnson is sponsoring the award, which will honor companies that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to create and maintain a fair marketplace through ethical business practices.All companies in the 25 counties served by the BBB of SC are eligible to apply. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, July 30 for the 2010 award. Anyone can nominate a company, including the business itself.The winners will be announced at the BBB’s Excellence in Customer Service gala awards dinner Friday, Sept. 17.Visit the BBB Web site at www.bbb.org for more information about the nomination process.
