The Assistance LeagueÆ of Colorado Springs will have a brown bag sale at the Bargain Box Thrift Store, 211 E. Costilla St. on March 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., March 10, 11 and 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and March 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Shoppers can fill a brown bag for $5.00 each. The thrift store will be closed on Friday, March 14 and will reopen Saturday March 15 at 9:30 a.m. with spring merchandise. The Bargain Box is one of the sources of funding for Operation School Bell, which provides clothing for school children in need.
