On Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20, the Assistance League of Colorado Springs is sponsoring a fun fair, “A Carousel of Bargains, at the Masonic Center at 1150 Panoramic Dr. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shopping and a luncheon and style show is included in the fair. The cost is $15. Call Jackie at 597-2675 to make reservations. The deadline for the reservations is Oct. 15. Table reservations are welcome.The style show is hosted by “Kids on the Block” puppets and features fashions from the Bargain Box Boutique. New items will be available for purchase each day. Raffle tickets will be available for $1 each or six for $5. Prizes include old fashioned prints from Silent Woman Accents and a one night’s stay at the Cheyenne Canon Inn. The drawing is Oct. 20, and winners do not need to be present to win.
