Free Income Tax Preparation in 2019, hosted by The Community Outreach Center in Calhan is in its sixth year offering free tax preparation and its fourth year with AARP Tax Aide. There are no income or age limitations, making it easy to assist a large number of residents. Qualifications are based on the complexity of the return.The free tax assistance is offered on Wednesdays in Calhan during the 2019 tax season.The program is looking for compassionate and friendly individuals to join a team of local volunteers for the upcoming tax season. Volunteers receive training and continued support in a welcoming environment.
