The double wide duplex properties south of Highway 24 and Meridian Road are apparently so entangled in back taxes, debt and bankruptcy filings that itís impossible for anyone to purchase the property. Itís been reported that the appliances and the wiring inside the homes have been stripped. The buildings have become an eyesore, and rumor has it that no one is doing anything about it ñ the bank that holds the mortgage or the county officials.
