A Chapter 1100 Christmas

The Chapter 1100 Christmas meeting on Dec. 13 was a fun and productive end-of-year meeting. Members greeted others with hugs, greetings and wishes of happiness and good will. When President Candace called the meeting to order, a blessing and the  Pledge of Allegiance followed. A special catered buffet dinner with side dishes and a large selection of desserts furnished by the membership was enjoyed by all.

Afterward, voting for the slate of chapter officers for 2024 was the primary order of business. The full slate, introduced to the membership in November, was elected. The installation of the newly elected chapter officers will take place at the Jan. 10 meeting.

Santa’s visit had revealed a very large array of gifts. Ray Rozak, who presided at Santa’s request, allowed members to come up one or two at a time and select the box or bag of their choice. By the end of the day, every person present had selected at least two items from Santa’s collection. Many smiles and laughter followed as individuals unwrapped their selections.

The meeting ended with many good wishes for the New Year!
