  Harvest Festival at the library

     The High Prairie Library in Falcon hosted a Harvest Festival on Oct. 5. Daylong activities included an inflatable obstacle course, arts and crafts for all ages, door prizes, food and music and much more.
Asher Kurt, age 18, of Falcon, wore his Harry Potter costume. He said his favorite part of the event was the fresh pressed apple cider.Aviannna Caceres, age 3, of Falcon, poses with what she called a  “heeha” (mini donkey) named Samantha, provided by Wishing Star Farms.
Peyton Bette, age 11, sisters Avery Bette, age 5, and Hadley Bette, age 6, of Falcon participated in the rubber stamping craft, one of the many craft experiences available.Bruce Eng and Pat Farrenkopf volunteer with the library’s seed program. The seed library offers three free seed packets every month to library card holders.They also help educate the community on local gardening tips.
