   Meridian Ranch Center events

     Ongoing Active Older Adult classes
   AOA — 11 a.m.: Use of a chair for sitting and standing support. The class will lift hand-held weights and utilize the stretch band and small exercise balls for strength.
   Hatha (gentle) Yoga: 1 p.m.: A gentle stretching/deep breathing class standing on the floor with a mat
   AOA 2: —10 a.m.: Increasing the heart rate plus strength training with the workout equipment. Some floor exercises are available if attendees are interested.
   Seated/standing yoga —11 a.m.: Seated and standing yoga poses with assistance from a chair
   Strength and balance — 1 p.m.: Core and lower body strength for better balance; a chair is also provided for assistance. Exercises for better balance include moves and poses such as standing on one leg, walking one foot in front of the other, lunges, etc.
   June events
   June 6: T-ball begins / last day of registration
   June 8: Flick n- float 6 to 8 p.m., the Sand Lot
   June 15 and June 16: Community garage sale
   June 21: Parent’s Night Out
   June 29: Falcon Freedom Days — As part of Falcon Freedom Days, MRRC is hosting a 5k run at the recreation center at 8:30 am on June 29.
