Autumn teaches us a valuable lesson. During summer, all the green trees are beautiful. But there is no time of the year when the trees are more beautiful than when they are different colors. Diversity adds beauty to our world.

Talley, a 4-year-old female Boxer/Pyrenees mix; and Koda, a 3-year-old male Great Pyrenees have been waiting forever for a loving home.
Photos by Sarah Matula

Talley is super friendly, super smart, gives kisses, loves to go on walks/hikes but can be a little picky with her doggy friends. It would be best if she can be the only animal in the house. You will not need more, she has love to give for three! At the rescue, she is sadly overlooked by visitors because she is not a full Pyrenees and is begging for attention and a family of her own.
Koda is a handsome Pyrs male who seems to choose “his” people, but is very loving when he gets to know a person or family. Koda loves walks/hikes, playing with toys, treats, being brushed, snuggling on the couch. He will guard you and your family very well.
If you are interested in one of them, please go to for more information/pictures and fill out an adoption application so we can call you to make an appointment to meet them.
