Join Front Range Equine Rescue as they present an “Equine Education Awareness Day” on Saturday, May 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held at the Latigo Trails Heritage Centre indoor arena at 13710 Halleluliah Trail in Black Forest.This fundraising and educational event will promote Front Range Equine Rescue’s work on behalf of abused and neglected horses.Local and regional horse professionals will present information on a variety of horse topics. Guest speakers and demonstrators will provide information on equine nutrition, veterinary care, alternative therapies, equine dental care, horsemanship and more.Demonstrators include natural horsemanship trainers Clay Harper, Debbie Bibb, and Jessee Province. Speakers include Gerrie Barnes, Dr. Randy Parker, Dr. Penny Lloyd, Nathan Goddard, Megan Bryant/Purina, and Kelly Stoochnoff.The event also features a variety of horse-related vendor booths, a used tack sale to benefit Front Range Equine Rescue, door prizes, food and fun for horse enthusiasts of all experience levels.Vendor space is limited, and April 10 is the deadline to apply for a space.
