Dean Goss, Dan Farmer and Orbin Hall received plaques thanking them for their years of service to the Upper Black Squirrel Groundwater Management District at the Jan. 2 meeting. Dean Goss, current president of UBSGWMD, served on the board for 12 years. Dan Farmer, a pilot for American Airlines, juggled his hectic work schedule for more than 10 years to make time for board meetings. Falcon resident Orbin Hall made time over the years for both water board meetings and volunteer work at the county fair. All three men are ending their participation on the board after the Feb. 7 election because of term limitation rules.
