County fair assistant manager Debbie Galle said attendance – the actual number was 35,634 – at the 100th anniversary celebration of the El Paso County Fair was up by 19.5 percent from last year. Revenues increased as well. The fair took place in Calhan July 23 through July 30, and Galle said the weather was “cooperative for the most part.” Once again, the organizers thank all who attended and participated in the centennial county fair.
