The El Paso County Board of Commissioners is streamlining some of its meeting processes by creating better access to the meetings of the minutes. At its Aug. 4 meeting, the board gave the okay for a few changes to section XIV(C) of its legislative and parliamentary rules and procedures. This section deals with the minutes of the meetings. Now the minutes of each meeting will be posted on the county’s Web site at www.elpasoco.com, which will replace the current page that just gives item results. The online postings are unofficial records of the meetings.Audio copies of the BoCC meetings are still available to the public through the clerk at the board’s office. Call 520-6430. If you want the online version, go to http://bcc.elpasoco.com/bocc/agenda.asp.
