Castle Rock, Colo., will host the Grand Prix Horse Jumping event on June 18 and 25 during the Castle Rock Horse Shows in Douglas County. Proceeds from this event will benefit PAALS, a nonprofit organization helping senior animals and senior people.Celebrity sponsors will be hosting the event, including Nina Blackwood, MTV’s original VJ, on June 18, and actress Pam Grier on June 25.Events begin at 5 p.m. with a VIP Party; dinner will be served by Outback Steakhouse of Castle Rock. A silent auction will be held benefiting PAALS. The Woodies will perform at 6:30 p.m. in the main arena prior to the Grand Prix Jumping event, which begins at 7 p.m.After the main event, guests will get a chance to meet celebrity hosts, bid on the silent auction, mingle with the riders, eat, drink and dance to The Woodies.Throughout the horse shows and festivities, PAALS dogs and cats available for adoption will be visiting with guests.Tickets are available at all King Soopers locations: $30 for the VIP party; $10 general admission, $6 for children.
