Colorado AvidGolfer readers named Antler Creek Golf Course the best new course for 2004. This was no surprise to golfers who have played the challenging new course located in Falcon.The “prairie dunes” style course encompasses 8,100 yards and opened last summer; golfers were able to play throughout the winter. Antler Creek is the longest course in Colorado and the second-longest course in the United States.With six sets of tees, three lakes, 73 bunkers and wide, playable fairways, Antler Creek is challenging for players of every level.Antler Creek is a unique partnership between two neighboring developments, Woodmen Hills and Meridian Ranch. Traditional Golf Management, a Niebur Golf Company, is managing the course. The partnership will continue to benefit the neighborhood and Colorado golfers by adding an additional nine holes in the near future.Antler Creek Clubhouse offers a full-service restaurant for golfers and the surrounding community. The restaurant, which features a full bar, is open for lunch and dinner daily and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
