Memories, photos, anecdotes and memorabilia are wanted for the 100-year history of the El Paso County Fair. The history will be presented in three parts: written and photographic on a special Web site; video interviews that will be conducted prior to and during the fair; and pictorial displays with captions displayed throughout the fairgrounds.Anyone who is interested in becoming a part of history needs to gather what information they have and submit it to Debbie Galle at the fair office. Photographs should be submitted electronically if they are clear. The photographs may be brought to the fair office to be scanned, and the owner will retain the originals. All photographs should be accompanied by a complete description, including identification of people, location and date. Each person who submits information will be given credit for the submission at the end of the document.Old ribbons, canned goods, and anything of historical value may be considered as a part of the historical project.
