Falcon Meadows at Bent Grass

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the application for preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Falcon Meadows at Bent Grass subdivision for Filing Nos. 2, 3 and 4 into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

Bent Grass

The commissioners unanimously approved the application for preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Bent Grass Residential subdivision for Filing No. 2 into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

Copper Chase at Sterling Ranch

The BOCC unanimously approved the application for preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Copper Chase at Sterling Ranch subdivision for Filing No. 1 into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

Homestead at Sterling Ranch

The commissioners unanimously approved the application for preliminary acceptance of certain streets within the Homestead Ranch subdivision for Filing No. 2 into the EPC road maintenance system. All improvements have been completed and inspected.

The BOCC also unanimously approved the preliminary release of bond funds for $85,480 for defect warranty on the improvements completed for Filing No. 2.

Honor Charter School 

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by Highmark School Development, on behalf of Bahr Holdings LLC to exempt a parcel within the Bent Grass Meadows planned unit development, located at the north side of Bent Grass Meadows Drive, about 0.40 west of Meridian Road and measuring 8.98 acres, from the platting requirements as allowed in the subdivision exemption process. The property is unplatted and designated as “Tract W” in the PUD and will be used as the construction site for the El Paso County School District 49’s Honor Charter School.

Iron Ridge properties

The BOCC unanimously approved a request by Atticus Land LLC to rezone two properties located south of Walker Road, about 0.03 miles from the Walker Road and Thompson Road intersection. The properties are currently zoned residential rural-5, and the request would change those 85.99 acres to residential rural-2.5. At the same time, the commissioners approved the preliminary plan for the above properties to create 28 single-family lots and 2.5 acres of right-of-way.
