Falcon Exchange Club

Submitted by Don Koveleski

The Exchange Club of Falcon was honored to present the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year 2025 award to Deputy Andrew Laderman of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office on March 30. Deputy Laderman’s parents, family and fellow officers were there to see him receive the plaque.

As part of the ceremony, Don Koveleski read a letter from the EPSO indicating why he was selected as their Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Here are some excerpts from the letter. “He consistently demonstrated the ability to effectively balance reactive calls for service with proactive traffic enforcement, placing him among the top performers in key Patrol Division performance metrics.” …  “The quality of his work is consistently thorough and accurate, reflecting a strong work ethic and commitment to service.” This letter reflected why Deputy Laderman was selected for LE Officer of the Year 2025. He is a deputy assigned to Falcon.

Our club is honored to present an officer in our community with such an award. Thanks to Deputy Laderman and the rest of the deputies/detectives of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. We look forward to having them be permanently assigned to Falcon in the new building that is currently being built on Stapleton Road, near the Falcon Fire station.

Two men stand indoors shaking hands as one hands a plaque to the other. Behind them are banners for the Exchange Club and a U.S. flag.
