Fox Run Regional Park

The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a contract and purchase order to Timberline Building Systems LLC for the Fox Run Regional Park pond and gazebo renovation for no more than $1,434,484.25. The project consists of construction services for the gazebo relocation and reconstruction near the existing amphitheater, improvements to the amphitheater to ensure ADA access, reduce erosion, dredging of both ponds, fitting both ponds with synthetic pond liners and providing ADA access from the parking area to the gazebo, amphitheater, building and around the ponds.

Peyton area roads design services

The BOCC unanimously approved a request to award a contract and purchase order to AECOM Technical Services Inc. for no more than $745,065 for design upgrades to Railroad, Main and Front Streets in Peyton.

Retreat at PrairieRidge 

The commissioners unanimously approved a request by Classic SRJ Land LLC to rezone 14.55 acres from residential rural-5 to planned unit development. The property, formerly known as “Jaynes Property,” is located north of the future extension of Briargate Parkway, south of Poco Road, and west of Vollmer Road. The PUD includes 112 single-family lots ranging from 2,872 square feet to 3,800 square feet, 16 tracts for drainage, utilities, landscape and open space that will be served by private roadways.

Falcon Park-n-Ride

The BOCC unanimously approved a resolution to grant a quitclaim deed to the City of Colorado Springs from EPC for the Falcon Park-n-Ride, located at the intersection of Meridian Road and Old Meridian Road.
