A post office in Falcon

The Peyton Post Office is relocating because more space is necessary to accommodate the growing eastern plains. The location has yet to be determined but they are seeking input from residents as to a new location. You might have already received a post card from the post office asking you to provide input via a letter. If you haven’t, don’t wait — this is your chance to bring the post office to Falcon. You must send a letter through the snail mail to respond to the post office and let them know a post office in Falcon is a good idea. Address

ATTN: Peyton CO MPO Relocation

United States Postal Service

P.O. Box 27497

Greensboro, N.C. 27498-1103

The post office administration wants to know where people want the new post office located. Their perimeters for the location of the new post office are within 10 miles of the old post office in Peyton. Those boundaries go past New Meridian Road and Highway 24 so the majority of Falcon is included in the area.

For years, we’ve had residents asking about when Falcon would get a post office. Well, this is our opportunity!!! Please send the letter to the above address. Also, it would be a good idea to contact Congressman Jeff Crank — he could help influence this decision. Contact him at the following offices.
