Pet Adoption Corner

Pet Adoption Corner: Tucker & Wilma

April update: Both Sugar and Angus found new homes.

Two side-by-side photos of dogs named yeti and nero; yeti is a fluffy, smiling golden retriever, and nero is a black and white dog with expressive eyes, wearing a red collar.

This month is Yeti, a 2-year-old male Pyrenees. His sister, Yuri, was recently adopted and now he is looking for a forever home. He is a sweet, energetic boy. He loves attention, could use some training in manners as he likes to jump up but just wants to be loved on. He gets along with other dogs, walks well on a leash and likes to play ball.

Nero is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Pyrenees mix. He was adopted 18 months ago and recently returned: the reason given was “inconvenience.” He is pretty sad and shy due to being returned but warms up quickly. He walks well on a leash; his previous foster thinks he would do best with another dog in the home.

Please consider giving these dogs a forever home

We will be attending the Country Market June 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Front Street in Peyton.
